    On desktop: new shortcut -> \\whs\ , Finish.
    Drag shortcut to taskbar, change icon if desired.

    @Orlanda
    Your method does not work with Windows 7

    It works fine for me if you leave off the final backslash. Of course, you need to replace whs with the name of YOUR server.

    This is identical to the Desktop shortcut created by installation of the WHS Connector, at least with the HP version of the Connector software.
