UK has stock – UK has no stock
At 18.50 UK time ebuyer had 9 copies of Windows Home Server for sale. Of course these went in minutes and the lucky 9 people paid a whopping £129.62 including VAT.
Thanks to Simon Smith aka Dancing Bear for the details as posted on the WHS forums and as he says “Steep or what” my sentiments exactly, especially as novatech have it listed for £86.95 inc VAT and they have 77 due in tomorrow.

Come on then, own up – who are the 9? You would have to think they are enthusiasts who were watching that page closely, and are therefore also likely to read WHS blogs and news sites?
Not me. But I did order from Novatech. Unfortunately the 77 due 5th is now 69 due 14th (I guess the 69 is due to orders already placed). At least the price is much better. I saved 30+ pounds even with next-day delivery.
Thanks danb and Simon Smith for your comments. I just wish I was one of the lucky 9, unfortunately I have to wait another few days for my copy. Now Novatech won’t have any till 14th September (2007) I am sure some of us will look at other suppliers.
