Add-In: DA Document Manager 2010

Digital ArcHound is now known as DA Document Manager and the 2010 Edition is available for download.

DA Document Manager – Windows Home Server Edition is a document archiving multi-user software application that has been designed for individuals, families and small businesses to quickly and easily move toward a truly paperless environment by allowing them to store, retrieve, archive and manage their electronic documents.

Using the DA Document Manager client software, each computer connected to the WHS server can independently archive, search, recall, email and combine archives from a centrally located database and archive vault on the WHS server.

  • Completely redesigned user interface featuring new Office style ribbon technology
  • Ability to append or add to an existing PDF file
  • Password protection for individual PDF files
  • META Tag embedding for PDF files
  • Improved management for categories and subcategories
  • Smart category selection with the familiar auto fill feature
  • Direct Import Tool for large numbers of PDF files
  • Recovery Tool to allow users to recreate their Digital ArcHound Vault database

A 15 day free trial is available after which pricing is $59.99 for a 3 user license, $99.99 for 5 users and  $189.99 for 10 users. Existing users of Digital ArcHound can upgrade to DA Document Manager from $39.99.

    I just started using this and it works pretty well. I am scanning items as they come in and downloading pdf’s of users manual. This will make retrieving document so much easier.
