In his first vid John adds fans to cool the heat sink on the Gen8:

In this video I mount 4 Evercool 30x30x7mm EC3007M12CA fans on the CPU Heat Sink on my HP ProLiant Gen8 MicroServer. In addition to the 4 Evercool fans I used a Molex to 3 pin Fan power adapter with 3 additional 3 pin Fan connectors soldered on.
Earlier I had tried to mount 2 Noctua 40x40x10mm but lacked adequate clearance to reload the system board in the MicroServer so I ended up just mounting 1 Evercool 30x30x7mm EC3007M12CA on the CPU Heat Sink…

This second video shows the N40L MicroServer with a Radeon HD6450 Graphics Card proving output to 2 monitors:

…I show how I installed a Sapphire Radeon HD6450 Graphics card in a HP ProLiant N40L MicroServer providing HDMI and DVI Output to two Monitors with Sound playing through the HDMI connection on the Planar monitor. I had installed Windows 7 Pro 64b as my OS onto a Corsair Force GT 60GB SSD that was attached to a HighPoint Rocket 620A.
