Windows Server 2012 R2 Public Preview in June

In an anointment at Microsoft’s TechEd North America conference today, the software giant publicly announced details of Windows Server Blue which will be officially called Windows Server 2012 R2.

Microsoft stated that a public preview version will be available at the end of June, with the final version available by the end of calendar 2013.
