Would love to see some reviews on the Tranquil with the Atom processor. I just had a Zotac Mag (returned) and it was slow as molasses. Not sure I want that for a WHS that streams media.

  2. Ian says:

Tranquil produce good WHS boxes, but I would never buy another one…

    They source cr@p PSUs.

  3. Phillip Ingle says:

I have to comment on the support from Tranquil. I bought an AVA media server from them last summer and I am appaled at their poor service. I would not purchase from them again because of this.
If you are thinking of buying their product spend some time reviewing their support by asking a few questions before you commit and see what sort of response you get. It tends to take about 3 or 4 weeks to get an initial answer from them followed by email ping pong that drags on interminably without seeming to get near a resolution. And on their ‘live’ chat you can wait for over an hour to get a response.
    Try before you buy.
