DA Document Manager for WHS 2011 Available Soon

DA Document Manager 2010 WHS Console

You may remember DA Document Manager, an add-in for Windows Home Server v1 users to help them organize their documents. Now thanks to our friend Bob Crook we can inform you that a version is being worked on for WHS 2011:

Because the new version of WHS is a complete rewrite, it has taken much longer to implement all of the features that were in the prior version.  Thank you for your patience.

We look forward to when it is released. In the meantime more information on DA Document Manager can be found here.

Sadly it is a dead product. Never released a WHS 2011 version. No one answers any of the email addresses. I’ve sent many asking to release as open source, how much they would sell it for, anything to get a response.

I bought the server version an put hundreds of documents and information into it. Now it is useless as I no longer have a WHS, went to Essentials.

Companies shouldn’t leave you hanging like that. They could of at least offered licensed users the desktop version or make an export program, don’t remember if it had one or not, to export all the database information. The pdf’s are still readable but have no clue without the database what is what because it renamed them.

The website is still up and you can still buy it. I hope no one has then find out it’s a dead product.

    Jeffery
