Next DVBLink Version to Allow TV Streaming

DVPLogic are in the process of making a new version of the DVBLink Server Network Pack which will enable you to stream your TV channels over the internet to web browsers and potentially, mobile phones.

At the present time there is no news if this will support adaptive streaming to the likes of the iPad or iPhone or if the server will be re-encoding content. But this is great news for those of you wanting to watch your TV whilst away from home.

We will let you know more news when available, in the meantime more details on DVBLink are available from here.

Does everything have to be made for the iphone, ipad or any other i-devices? You do know there are other mobile operating systems out there, like Windows Mobile, Symbian, Blackberry, android, dont you? Its amazing to see repeatedly how you so called Microsoft MVP’s are so obsessed with the iphone you dont even give a moment’s thought to Microsoft’s own mobile OS, just because its not fashionable. My HD2 can do all the streaming you want, but you will never see it mentioned on sites like this. Starting to get really annoying.
