Turns out the first time I tried to access Safari it was through an organization that has a Safari subscription, albeit one that does not cover 3/4 of Safari's content (2200 vs 9800 titles). That was apparently enough to prevent the link from working, and even to prevent searches for the title from working. I later tried from a different computer and was able to access the page for the Rough Cuts version of the book.thanks! And so it does.
