Intelliwrite looks really cool; it has prevented an estimated 19,000 fragments over the last few days!"Is there a problem with defragmentation on a WHS at all?"I believe when it was first released, defragging WHS with the native defrag utility was not recommended by MS due to some problems. A system like Whs should manage this problem itself without 3rd party intervention. Win7 does it suitably well I believe so MSFT have the technology. Disk access is a sensitive thing. Too many cooks spoil the broth and the OS should be the one in charge. Is there a problem with defragmentation on a WHS at all?

I am suspicious of defrag software on a server. Out of fifteen installations of WHS, PerfectDisk site license runs on four. Simple to install not only on workstations but getting it installed on any WHS is easy too.

I am already a PerfectDisk convert.
