Totally disagree with palavering2u (although I slightly resent having to finally join Twitter). Is there a similar app for SBS? Or can @WHSTwitter be installed on other platforms?

Excellent app!! I did know, however, the nature of the add-in. I just think that the end user should be careful installing an add-in of any sort (I have installed the Disk Management add-in). I'm not sure of what service the Twitter add-in would be for most consumers. I, personally, hardly know what to do when I receive an error message, or a warning--other than those I receive througn any of my clients. I really don't think the average consumer wants to spend his or her time fiddling with code, the registry, and other esoteric options. Nor do I think that Microsoft developed WHS for that purpose. But I convey here my opinion only. I'm sure others would disagree with me.

Thank you for the clarification. I did know, however, the nature of the add-in. It is NOT a twitter client like twhirl or TweetDeck. It simply uses twitter as a messaging platform (vs text messages or email) to send status updates as to the health of your WHS.

@palavering2u – I don’t think you understand what this Add-In does. Why do some people insist on making it a client and a server PC? Wouldn't users be better served to use other PCs for apps and the like?

My perception (and Microsoft’s) is that WHS is a server OS.
