Quite simply, I don’t have Vista 64 but had I needed compatibility with Vista 64 then I wouldn’t have purchased WHS. Anyone who spends money on a system like this without doing their research has no one to blame but themselves. The Vista64 limitation is even stated on the WHS Wikipedia page!

Of course, the person who screwed up bad enough to purchase WHS without researching could just wait until PP1 is released, which is in public beta and includes support for Vista 64.

Regarding the data corruption bug, as I’m sure you know it requires multiple hard drives, duplicated shared folders, certain types of file types, edited on the server, and very specific timing conditions. Not all that common my friend, despite your repeated attempts to label it as the apocalypse . It also has a fix in public beta that anyone can sign up for. It’s dead simple to work around and the fix is on its way so it’s just not an issue to anyone but bashers like yourself.

Works perfectly, so you will NOT be needing Vista 64bit support being how WHS doesn’t provide this, nor would you want the proven data corruption design defect to be resolved as well.

Once again, someone is only thinking about themselves. While the rest of us, do want Vista 64 bit support, and to get the promised resolution of having to fix the data corruption KB 946676 serious flaw in the system.

But, I’m sure everyone else but you, have perfect working systems that nobody has every heard of bugs, flaws, defects and the sort in WHS?

The only person being pathetic is someone really stupid enough here, as unlike someone dumb, you actually know better and resist coming over to stand on fixing WHS, speaking up about what needs to be resolved, and demanding to get WHS working, functioning and delivering what was promised!

Windows Home Vault (oops) I mean server, isn’t even a file server… and you just cannot trust even the backup files too. Where does that leave you, wondering only what files are corrupted… with no way to check or know until you later try to use them.

Wow, that’s an experience all right…

No thank you Microsoft… No to WHS!!!

And please replace WHS with a real functional product that DOES WORK and DOES PLAY FAIR!

By all means pay yourself on the back, while real customers cope and deal with their lost of family videos, photos albums and backup files…

WHS doesn’t deserve a website, it needs to be recalled and a class action lawsuit filed to refund all it’s customers!!!
