Hi, I’ve been considering doing this for a while now, initially thought of vmware server but Virtual Server makes more sense. Do you know if Microsoft support this configuration at all?

    Thanks

You can use Oracle’s VirtualBox and a PHP web interface on your WHS to run and control your virtual machines from almost everywhere. Take a look at phpVirtualBox: http://code.google.com/p/phpvirtualbox/

Runs great on my HP EX470 with Dual Core CPU and 4GB RAM.
Its quite easy to setup once you have PHP up and running.
