Isn't that redundant? I just want to have all music and movies on my WHS, ripping to it and streaming from it. Is that possible?

It sounds like I have to have the iTunes media on a PC first before the WHS will get it for the iTunes Server. No it is only a recommendation. I had 3x 320GB drives in my machine, then bought 2x 500GB. So my system drive is the 320GB and the other 2 the 500GB. When I reinstall a year down the line I shall just make 1 of the 500GB the sytem drive instead.

Hi John Pierce,<br

This seems to be telling me that as I add more drives to the system they can only be 500GB. If I want to add a 1TB drive, and then later the 1.5TB drive, I'll need to reconfigure the system and restore the OS each time a drive is added. Is that really true?

The author of the WHS Unleashed book recommends making your largest hard drive the primary or system drive.
